What color does the Integra GSR Interior come in? black

i know some integras had tan dash’s but i believe they only came in black.

I have a 2003 Acura tl and I wanted to know the best spoiler for this car. not too expensive because i’m on a budget

OEM. On that car an aftermarket spoiler would do several things…A:make it look crappy. B: Empty your wallet. C: Make it harder to sell.

I have seen aftermarket spoilers that look good on cars but not that style of TL.

Please don’t ruin an otherwise beautiful luxury car with a spoiler.These are meant for luxury, not ricers.

I asked him what he wanted for Christmas & he said stuff for his car, which is an Acura NSX. I have no idea what to get him. It’s already lowered, has a body kit & ten pounds of boost etc. Any ideas, whether it’s cosmetic like floor mats, stickers, license plates or actual parts for the engine, ANY IDEAS are appreciated!

If he doesn’t have dual Xenon headlights on his car already then maybe you should buy them, they tend to look really nice on sport cars, but be aware that these bulbs are pretty expensive but they look really nice. In Lamest terms they are the white/blue colored headlights which imitate and produce the affect of broad daylight at night helping to better illuminate the road ahead. If he doesnt have them on his car then he probably has the normal luminescent yellow bulbs found on any common vehicle. The Xenon’s are found on many current luxury sedans like BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti, Lexus etc etc. Also try matching the license plate lights if you get the xenon headlights. The two Xenon bulbs at the back of the plate should cost you $10-$15 but the Bi-xenon headlight can range from $75 to $300. It all depends on the number of Kelvin (kelvin- the amount/number of brightness in the bulb) that you purchase, for ex- 6,000K, 8,000K (k= Kelvin). These are some Pics so you have an idea.

how much are you willing to pay?
right at the top of the margin, you could get him some turbochargers or superchargers, which can range from $500 all the way up to $2,000. if your going for this, make sure he doesn’t have any already.
you could get him some seat covers, or maybehire someone to painthis car on his birthday, so he can put a design on it.
if you want to go lower, maybe you could get him some new hubcaps, or you ould even just clean it and touch it up.

i believe the seller is trying to inform you that s/he is not willing to "swap" their Acura RSX for another car, eg. a new Honda accord. i believe the seller just wants the buyer to pay in cash.

I think they are saying the motor is gone. The RSX-S has the badass K series engine, and many people like to buy these out of wrecked cars to "swap" into older civic hatchbacks.

That means he sold his transmission and engine to a base model RSX so that the base model RSX can become a Type S. I’m not sure what a full swap includes, I just know it’s the Engine, Transmission, Clutch, not sure about shifter and stuff.

That is what a Type S swap is: basically all the things to transform a base model RSX into a Type S. He’s basically selling a shell. As you already know Type S engines have more horsepower, about 40 or 50 HP more.

its the same car (ls and rs). easy to work on. you will never have problems with it unless you start modifying parts. i think the spoiler is optional on the ls. but rs doesn’t come with one. but dont worry you can always buy one for cheap off ebay or craigslist.

It maybe a good car cause its an Acura its not easy to work on cause its an Acura.

’99-’00 Honda Civic SiR
’00-’01 Acura Integra GS-R/ Type R
in terms of insurance, milage, repairs, etc which car would be better for me?

i owned a 00 si.i currently own a 99 GSR.hers from my experiences with the 2: the GSR is faster (by a little, both redline at 8000, but bigger displacement in the gsr motor and more hp), the GSR insurance is more expensive every month (my payment is $25 more than what my si was). they both get stolen A LOT, gas mileage between the 2 are nearly identical.There are lots of civics on the road, but not lots of 99/00 Civic SIs on the road.There arent many GSR integras on the road either, but as a whole there are many more civics on the raod than integras.i actually like driving the GSR more than i did the SI.the teg just feels sportier and im more comfortable in it physically.and i just put a type R spoiler with LED on it last week and it looks sick!

so get what u want this is just my experiences with the 2 cars.whichever one u get thoughbe sure to buy a pedal lock for the clutch and probably have a fuel cut off switch installed in it as again, these 2 particular model cars are stolen everyday, unfortunately.

there are no Civic SiR’s in the US, its just a civic SI, that being said, you will spend out the *** on insurance just because its acura, as for performance, i think the GSR and the Si are about the same, the si has a b16, while the GSR has a b18, your only losing .2 liters in engine size, gas mileage theyre identical, repairs are the same, but finding a decent Si, is gonna be hard, since they were only availible for 2 years, a GSR is gonna be a more likely option, and good luck finding a Type R, those are getting rare, and expensive, the only one i found actually cost more then my RSX type S cost me

as for performance parts, well they both use the same engine parts (internals, cams, intake manifold, header, etc) the only thing that would be different would be the intake and exhaust

they both have pros and cons. before i say anything, is the civic sir jdm or is it usdm? cus the civic sir wasnt sold in the US.

the civic: fuel effiecent, cheaper on insurance, string aftermarket support, parts are cheap. if its an Si, that engine has alot of potenital.

the integra: not so cheap on insurance, not so bad gas mileage,. fast, even stronger aftermarket support. if u got the GSR, you could convert it to a type r and it would be cheaper in the long run. type r parts are rare and expensive.

both are great cars. they are HONDAS and they are both reliable. just keep on the maintance. i have a 1997 accord and it has 181,000 miles. looks good, drives well. but i just keep up on the maintance so it wont cause me any problems. i suggest doing the same. good luck

if your going to get a acura i wouldn’t get a type r i would buy a gsr that’s what i did because type rs are not suppost to be daily drivers they are better suited for track cars personally i like integras more that civics they have better engines stock then civics plus they are not as common at least where i am

Civic is cheaper, integra is nicer, choice is up to you.

Acura is a little nicer but also more incurance..

I ned to now if it is a switch or sensor that may no be working that I need to change caus when I touch both hose theyare cold but the temp gauge says that I m in te red.What am I missing?

im pretty sure your thermostat is gone. First buy the part. Probably costs $7.50. Also buy a thermostat gasket ($1.10) and gasket sealant ($7)

Find the upper radiator hose, untighten it from the thermostat housing (aka "waterneck"). This will be in front of your engine. As long as you follow the radiator hose, you cant miss it.

Next, unbolt the waterneck. Pop it off (w a screwdriver if need be) Below that should be your thermostat. Yank it out. Clean the area. Place in the new one, throw on the gasket w. some gasket sealant.

The first time you do it might take 30-40 minutes. If you’ve done it more than twice, then it’s a 10 minute job.

if not then check all fuses and relays. and if those are good you may have a potential bad head gasket. check oil dipstick if there is water mixed in it.

hi, i have a 91 acura legend and i need to replace the clutch but the mechanic shops say that the cheap clutches that they sell on pepboys doesnt work, and now i went to auto zone and they have a clutch for 325$ and the brand is duralast, i wanna know if that is gonna last long on my legend. thank you

Ok here’s the thing. Some places sell what is known as a remanufactured kit. What that is is a new clutch disk, and new bearing, but the pressure plate has been machined down, rebalanced, and tested. Now if your flywheel has to be resurfaced as well as putting on a resurfaced pressure plate you might wind up with a problem as to where you don’t get enough pressure to hold the disk down and the disk will slip.
The best thing to do is get a new kit. NAPA has one for around $444. The link is below. ALL the parts in this pack are brand new and you can count on the fitment.

Hey John, yes I’m a middle class person but get this right I’m proud to own an Acura TL. Just becuase you have the means to buy an expensive car (BMW) doesn’t mean you can degrade an Acura. I had the option to buy a BMW 530i, did my research and backed the hell up. First up, expensive to maintain, repair, bad reliability. All BMW sells you is the logo, there. I rather have a car I like and want then an expensive car that’s going to cost me a lot to repair. Pull up to me in your BMW I won’t be intimidated at all. Acura’s get alot of attention bro not just BMW, Mercedez, Lexus, Audi, Infiniti. Acura makes a winner in my opinion.

I have a 01 Integra LS hatch. already lowered by previous owner. LOWERED TOO MUCH. I want it to be stock height again or close to stock height. Is there any place or website that sell them? I don’t want to go to dealership because they cost a lot of money.

There is a OEM set for the front and an OEM set for the rear on eBay right now by the same seller.
